
Dr. Archana P. Lamichhane is an Environmental Epidemiologist with over 15 years of extensive experience in public health research, program development and consulting domestically and internationally through her work across academic, non-profit, and governmental sectors. Archana has a strong background in data management and analytics, along with substantial expertise in the application of statistical models in health research using big data. She is very passionate when it comes to working with data and believe that data is a universal language that has capability to guide decisions and drive progress in various fields. Currently, as a senior health scientist at the U.S. EPA, she provides technical expertise and guidance to evaluate impacts of criteria air pollutants on the human health and environment and inform science-policy decisions.
Archana feels honored to be part of the EDM council’s WDP leadership team and collaborating with other accomplished data leaders. As a co-lead of the WDP Content Team, Archana takes pride in creating a platform that amplifies diverse voices/profiles of women in data, and inspires and supports emerging women professionals to advance in their career.
