Forum Mission and Alignment

The Africa Regional Forum provides a collaborative platform for EDM Association members across the continent to connect, exchange insights, and address key challenges and opportunities in data management. The forum supports alignment with regional market dynamics, regulatory requirements, and emerging industry practices.

The forum aims to:

  • • Strengthen the African EDM Association community by encouraging greater member engagement, collaboration, networking, and knowledge sharing.
  • • Provide practical learning opportunities through member-led discussions focused on data maturity journeys, implementation of DCAM and CDMC frameworks, and emerging capabilities such as knowledge graphs and AI-enabled data management.
  • • Leverage EDM Association expertise, research, and global resources to share insights on critical topics including data governance, risk management, privacy, AI adoption, and the evolving regulatory landscape across African markets.
