The EDMA AI Governance Working Group (the AIG Working Group) is dedicated to ensuring that AI is built on a foundation of trust and accountability by creating common definitions, identifying linkage to existing practices, and aligning to established frameworks.

Our objectives are to define and deliver:

  • A common definition and description of what is “AI Governance” (or AIG)
  • Clarify the connection between AIG and data management, showing how robust data management is indispensable to effective AIG
  • Pinpoint the critical data management practices required to deliver reliable and responsible AI products
  • Leverage the power of DCAM assessments to strengthen AI readiness and AIG maturity

The AIG Working Group meets Tuesday bi-weekly at 08:00 EST / 13:00 GMT / 17:00 UAE with participation from leading financial institutions, technology providers, and data governance experts across the EDM Association community.
